’Pestle & Mortar’ is a dynamic mid-tempo composition that combines African & Caribbean culture. The instrumental has a subtle dusky atmosphere, which is cleverly balanced with snappy percussion and bouncy drums. This perfectly depicts the essence of this track; moody but yet energetic enough to celebrate on a night out. In a nutshell, work hard, play hard. Just like all his releases, this song was written, performed & mixed/mastered by the artist.

Mazy shares: "You get to a point in life where you realize you have to make the best out of situations you can control and not dwell on things you can’t. I believe life becomes tremendously peaceful the moment you acknowledge and accept this. As far as ‘frenimies’ & haters, you can’t humble someone that has already been humbled by life. I hope this song inspires people to be themselves unapologetically and makes them strive for greatness one step at a time!”
